New Discovery Media won The Bridge Accelerator and $10,000 in seed capital, and told Technology HUB it was rebuilding its immersive work into something companies could run themselves.

Technology HUB named Jonalex Herrera and Liz Pasillas and described the company as a local virtual-reality producer. The accelerator put the team in front of mentors who made them redefine the business model, and Pasillas said the result was a move away from custom VR and AR applications built one at a time, toward something a client could adopt and manage on its own.

More training cycles, better retention, and savings on the process itself.

The coverage put the value in operating terms rather than technical ones: more interactive training cycles, stronger retention, and process savings for industry. The company was working inside a regional innovation ecosystem that included Technology HUB, FUNAX, Microsoft and mentors on both sides of the border, and the program tested the business model as hard as the technology.

The same line runs from Miami to the plant floor.

The work has a longer public trail. VoyageMIA and the Miami New Media Festival caught the Miami years; the Querétaro automotive cluster meeting put the work in front of industrial leadership; and the Trainlight case study, the En 15 interview and delivery work such as Johnson & Johnson pick it up after the award.
